This is a forum that talks about real time vfx and all the things related to it.
There are a lot of exchange on there, from WIPs to breakdowns to simple sketches.
One of the cool things about the community is that they hold a friendly competition each month for the duration of the month, in which often simple prompts are given for people to create a particle effect on.
Participants vary greatly in skill but its the beauty of it. Also with the amount of backlog content on the website and the numerous breakdowns, its easy to find inspiration and it's overall a fun little project for people to practise real time effects and get some good feedback.
